as in, don't get between ...

Funny? Actually, around here there is an hydrangea (at least one) in each family's yard. And most of the time it is the old 'Annabelle', the classic. A plant you can not buy here, so they have been here and been passed down to the next generation. The funny part may be the "his" in the title. Regardless, I am the one tending the farm and breeding the roses, crape myrtles, azaleas, hydrangeas, Japanese maples, butterfly bushes, dahlias, rhododendrons, mornin' glory, etc., saving seeds, and in turn preserving what is left of a proud culture here in the mountains of eastern Kentucky. Join me as I labor over this task and breathe in the geography that was and is so ever present and decisive a factor in our lives... But along the way, don't get between a hillbilly and his hydrangeas.
